Naples Sub-Zero of Lap Leopard Bengals
Lap Leopard Bengals are very excited to be welcoming this newest addition to our cattery. Silver stud Sub-Zero sports a great horizontal pattern with starkly contrasted rosettes. Sub-Zero carries a lot of the Charcoal characteristics and well he should since he carries for a gene needed for Charcoal colors times 2! The Charcoal characteristics means he has a black mask on his face, a darker back like the "capes" on Charcoals and the very dark and bold rosettes. We expect supremely high quality kittens from this beauty. He has the most cuddly of temperaments and is able to bond easily with any new person. Thanks to Jamie of Naples from Florida for creating this awesome stud!
Male Bengals mature very slowly and usually don't reach sexual maturity until 8-10 months old and don't even reach maximum fertility until 18 months old. So we don't anticipate any litters being born from him until he's a year old, June 2016. Can't wait!
Sub-Zero carries the Siamese gene (C/Cs), 2 copies of the ALC Agouti gene (Apb/Apb), and the dilute gene (D/d). These impressive genetics allows for Snow, Charcoal, and Blue colors.
Sub-Zero sports an impressive Pedigree that contains some of the most famous Bengal lines in the Breed, including: Callista, Gogees, Legacie, and Amantra.
Why is Pedigree Important?
The major advantage of buying a pedigree cat is that you know what you are getting! This is extremely important when considering the initial cost of a kitten, ongoing investment, the cats personality with respect to the breed and the Bengals long-term health.
