Benbars Gypsy of Lap Leopard Bengals
Gypsy earns her name for the craziest meandering journey she had to take to get to us. First she is personally transported by a professional Carrier on an airplane and flown from one part of Russia to a major international airport in Russia. From there, her journey continues to the New York JFK international airport where Wildlife, Fish, and Game gave a slight hassle for being a Bengal as her entire pedigree is scrutinized with a magnifier glass. Then she was driven back to our house located in New London, CT. Shortly thereafter the entire cattery, poor Gypsy included, had to make the arduous 18 hr drive down to the current location of the main cattery in the Georgia/Florida area. Of course, the name is also fitting as a homage to her Russian Romanian roots.
The entire journey was worth the wait as this light reddish brown Queen struts her stuff with Bold and Daring doughnut rosettes. Gypsy reflects our new direction in breeding as we work on acquiring new lines that will no longer produce Snows but atlas concentrate more on the 2 most popular colors. The fact that she also features the very in-demand doughnut rosettes is another quality distinction.
Brown & Silver only
Her pedigree hails from Europe and infuses new genetics into our Program. A Rare beauty from Russia, she will add much.
Why is Pedigree Important?
The major advantage of buying a pedigree cat is that you know what you are getting! This is extremely important when considering the initial cost of a kitten, ongoing investment, the cats personality with respect to the breed and the Bengals long-term health.
